The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, a leading research center for micro-RNA technology, gene cloning and genomic manipulation.
This department can be called one of the most powerful genetic engineering laboratories in Iran, which has been one of the pioneers of micro RNA science and genomic engineering research. This group is also a leader in genomic engineering technologies and implementation of large-scale cloning and gene expression projects.

Department of Stemcell biology works on various fields related to cell science and basic science and application in the field of stem cells.
One of the most important research areas of this group to produce stem cells can be induction (iPSC), bone tissue engineering, liver, skin and more tissues and studies in the field of three-dimensional culture of the next factors and the effect of cell scaffolds.
